Democratic View of 2010 State Elections; Knox County Clerk Candidate Debbie Cole
Broadcast Date: March 7, 2010

A Middle Tennessee State University survey released last week found that very few Tennesseans can name even one of the gubernatorial candidates.
Knoxville's mayor and Republican candidate Bill Haslam had the highest recognition at 19 percent, perhaps because of his heavy TV ad blitz across the state last month, which coincided with the MTSU phone survey.
Joining Gene Patterson to talk politics in the first segment is the chairman of the Tennessee Democratic Party, Chip Forrester.
Gene's guest in the second segment is Debbie Cole, a candidate for the Republican nomination for Knox County clerk. She is challenging incumbent Foster Arnett. Recently she found herself in the midst of a controversy surrounding a card she gave away at last week's Lincoln Day dinner.
In for the final word of this week's program is 6 News political analyst George Korda and political columnist Frank Cagle.
